CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

I received a great education at University of California, Irvine. The professors were excellent and very helpful outside of class when I started my business. I was happy with the class size that created a close atmosphere of cooperation. I would gladly recommend others to come to UCI if they are looking for a quality education and a close- knit student body. -- Entrepreneurship

UCI offers first-class professors and a very laid-back, fun atmosphere. The class size is small, which means there are many, many opportunities to take leadership positions and contribute to the on- and off-campus community. -- Entrepreneurship

The program added a lot of arsenal to my existing skill sets, and allowed me to recognize and hone my own personal competitive advantages and core competencies. These should prove to be valuable in my new job. -- Marketing

There is no other place that leverages information technology to enhance the traditional material learned in MBA programs. Another thing, the small school structure really promotes learning and a better team-based environment. -- Management Leadership

I felt the size and innovative curriculum were tremendous benefits. Faculty access and interaction were fantastic and peer networking was easy with the size of the school. I was impressed with the innovative labs and tools available to the students and embraced them immediately. -- Finance

The MBA program at UC Irvine is challenging yet the environment is very friendly and supportive. Fellow students, professors, and the staff get to know you on a first name basis. The Information Technology focus of the program provides valuable analytical and technological skills. -- Finance

I think that UC Irvine provides a great learning environment for students to gain teamwork and initiative skills, which are necessary in any business environment. UC Irvine utilizes information technology to compliment every function of business. -- Marketing

GSM is a strong program with excellent faculty and students. It is a small school that allows close relationships to be built between students and professors. The course load is rigorous but rewarding. I am more confident today in my capabilities. -- Marketing

The coursework was challenging and very useful. The professors used real life examples and experiences to show how the theoretical concepts apply to us, and the companies we will be working for. The overall experience was good and I grew by leaps and bounds at UCI GSM. -- Strategic Development

The program is good. The faculty is good but the career services needs to improve a lot. Therefore, I would recommend the school to anyone who doesn't have to rely on career services to find a job. -- Information Technology
