CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

The Tuck experience has been wonderful. I have been surrounded by the most intelligent, hard-working, and team-focused people for the last two years. I had very high expectations of Tuck and they were still surpassed. -- Consulting

Tuck provided a fantastic learning experience and great social environment. The degree has helped me to shift careers, the learning has broadened my knowledge, and the friendships will last forever. -- Venture Capital/Private Equity

I believe it is an incomparable experience of personal growth, in the educational aspect, in the professional aspect, and in the social aspect. It is a moment to learn about yourself and others (especially other cultures) and it is a great opportunity to improve your chances of success in life in whatever way you measure success. Plus, it is a moment when you are surrounded by extremely bright and interesting people that are willing to share their experiences. -- Marketing

Tuck combines a healthy, student-focused environment, with an extremely challenging workload. The cutthroat environment, which seems to be fostered by other programs, is not accepted here at Tuck, making the overall experience a much friendlier, collegial one. I would recommend this program to all of my friends without reservation. -- Investment Banking

I really enjoyed my experience at Tuck. I would definitely recommend it, although I would make sure that people understand that what makes Tuck so great is also what might not be for everyone (small size, rural setting, constant interaction with faculty, etc.). For me, it was a fantastic experience. -- Cxonsulting

The combination of academics, career opportunities, high-caliber, diverse students, a close-knit supportive community, and social and athletic activities and events, made Tuck the ideal school for me. I would highly recommend it to others seeking the best in a business school experience. I am leaving Tuck with my ideal job, at a time where jobs are more difficult to find, great friends, and amazing memories of a great two years. -- Marketing

Tuck is a unique place. I believe most top MBA programs can offer the basics. Tuck offers an environment that encourages thought, leadership, and learning. It’s strong alumni network is a great example of the type of experience students have while at school. -- Marketing

All schools will give you the tools and skills you need to succeed. Tuck does that and more. You learn in a cooperative environment, experience balance of life, and become a better person. I firmly believe that a graduate from Tuck is more marketable than graduates from most other schools. -- Investment Management

The quality of the Tuck education, combined with the amazing and unique life experience at Tuck, is unmatched by any other school. Access to the Tuck alumni network is the single greatest recruiting tool available! -- General Management

The combination of a cohesive, tight-knit culture, a rigorous curriculum, and a highly interactive alumni network, provides an educational experience that is tough to beat. Tuck requires a certain team-oriented personality that drives the strength of the program. I would be sure to urge only friends/colleagues I thought would make a positive contribution to this culture. -- Investment Banking

Deciding to return to school and choosing Tuck were two of the best decisions I have made thus far in life. Coming from the nonprofit sector, I believe the analytical and quantitative rigor of the program has prepared me well for a career in consulting. Aside from academics, the Tuck community is amazing. Tuck did a terrific job admitting students from all professional backgrounds and cultures. That, coupled with an open learning environment focused on cooperation instead of competition, created an ideal place for me to grow as an individual and branch into another industry. I will come away from my two years at Tuck with good friends with whom I am sure I will stay in touch both personally and professionally. -- Consulting

Tuck is a special place that taught me invaluable lessons about business and life. Sometimes the isolation combined with the intensity was difficult but where else can you live on five acres, ski after class, and leave your computer unattended? I'm not foolish enough to think that I could not have gotten a quality business education at any of the other top-ten schools but the quality of life would have been very difficult to replicate. -- Finance

Tuck is 100% focused on its full-time MBA program. I have not met another business school student yet who feels as committed to their institution or each other as Tuck students do. It's a truly special place and I feel that in comparison with my friends that are graduating from other business schools, I am well prepared to make my mark on the business world. I will forever be willing to pick up the phone if I hear that it's another Tuck student or alumnus calling. -- Consulting
