CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

I thought the MBA experience really expanded my view of the world and prepared me for a different career track. If someone wants to change or improve their current understanding of the world, then getting an MBA is a great idea. Plus Simon, with small classes, really allowed everyone to interact and have their voice be heard. -- Finance

The education that I have received has provided me with a set of marketable job skills. The leadership and participation activities that I have engaged in, have led to profound personal growth and maturity. I would want nothing less for my friends, colleagues, and loved ones. -- Anonymous

People have different needs and desires they want to satisfy in their business education. For those that are looking for a good, theoretical program, with a smaller class size, than I would strongly encourage them to look at the Simon School. However, the Simon School may not meet the needs for everyone. -- Finance

The Simon School offers significant tuition assistance in the form of grants and scholarships. In addition, the exceptional quality of the professors, the small size of the school, and the excellent assistance from career services make it a truly first-rate MBA program. -- Marketing

Simon is so strong in finance. Compared to the other interns last summer, I knew more, was more confident, and enjoyed a larger knowledge base. The Alumni Network is a liability. -- Finance

This program works you very hard. You get your time and money's worth and then some. The small size of the school gives access to faculty and administration and fosters a sense of community. The heavy teamwork concept is an education in itself. -- Finance

Shortly after I arrived on campus, a second-year student told me "This is not a happy MBA, if you want a happy MBA experience go to Thunderbird or Kellogg. Here you will work like crazy, the weather is terrible, and the way they structure the grading system makes the program very competitive. But the quality of education is just superb, particularly in Finance." He was 100% right. -- Finance

Although the Simon School is nationally ranked, the name does not carry as much weight or swagger as the higher-ranked business schools. Thus, students here need to work a lot harder to prove our credentials, especially when targeting areas with little or no alumni network, where our value is not yet known. -- Finance

I truly enjoyed Simon and feel that many others could benefit from its terrific faculty, small and personalized setting, and international flavor. Overall, I feel that the classes have adequately prepared me for the business world and I would highly recommend it to friends or colleagues, who are serious about pursuing an MBA. -- Operations
