CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

I would absolutely recommend anyone I know and care about to attend Ohio State. The quality of the preparation I feel I received to enter the business school is incredible. I feel that the professors were deeply committed to the students, and that the administrative staff ensured we had the resources necessary to be successful. Concerns were addressed immediately and positively, and the pervasive team spirit between students, staff, and instructors was unwavering. I feel that every person I encountered was as dedicated to ensuring my success as I am. -- Marketing

The Fisher College of Business at OSU is a great investment. The tuition is fairly low and the starting salaries are pretty good. Even with the downturn in the job market, we have a good number of students reporting offers, better than the numbers for the other schools of which I am aware. The program is small, 150 per class, which allows for a comfortable atmosphere. -- Operations

Fisher is a great collaborative environment where academics is stressed, but so is social interaction. Its small size lets you get to know all of your classmates and professors personally and greatly increases your network. It also has a great return on investment and good mid-west recruiting. The ambiance is not cut throat and I will value the connections made at Fisher for the rest of my life. -- Operations

Fisher is continually trying to improve its MBA program. They are hiring great instructors, give their students exceptional access to the business community, and have a growing reputation that gives the Fisher MBA more clout on a national and international scene. The value attained by a Fisher MBA is extraordinary. -- Consulting

I was extremely pleased with my Fisher MBA experience. This program is very demanding, but there is a close bond between students, faculty, and administrators. I felt that the education was of high caliber, and just as important, students have many opportunities to contribute to the ongoing growth and betterment of the program. Looking back, I made close friends, increased my business skills and knowledge bank, and helped shape the program for future MBA students. -- Marketing

Fisher College offers a high quality, highly focused, and highly responsive program for today's MBA student. I believe that the program's small size allows it to affect more rapid changes in order to keep pace with the rapidly evolving world of business. It's excellent facilities provide grounds for developing the best in interactive and group learning. It’s caring and expert faculty fosters and mentors learning and excitement surrounding today's business issues. -- Finance

The curriculum is excellent, the faculty is very interested in ensuring that students learn, research work is on the cutting edge, physical facilities are superb, and all this at a reasonable cost. -- Finance

I have really enjoyed my MBA experience and I am looking forward to bringing my new knowledge and skills to the work environment. The school has a large number of "study abroad" programs that add unique value to the quality of graduates. It does a good job on bringing business people and students together through Executive Luncheons, presentations, dinners, etc. The faculty is very approachable, thanks to the small size of the program. -- Finance

Joining the Fisher MBA program has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff, faculty, and students have all been very helpful and responsive to me. I have never felt as if I was just a social security number. Time and time again, I have seen how the staff listens and implements our suggestions. In all, it is a strong program with a lot of substance. -- Marketing

Getting my MBA has allowed me to successfully transition from the healthcare industry to the business world with a plethora of opportunities that would have never been available to me otherwise. I have been very pleased with the education and experiences the Fisher College of Business has provided. -- Anonymous
