TECHNOLOGY

Technology changes made over the past three years:
The technological improvements at the school are organized around infrastructure (mostly hardware, storage, and wireless), databases, and applications (e.g., collaborative work platform).

The school's main building is covered with the wireless network, and the school has built a 10,000 square foot collaborative learning facility.

For graduate programs, the school has adopted a collaborative project management platform called eProject, which allows groups to form online communities and projects for news-sharing, document management, discussions, polls, and managing projects. The central online community for the MBA program has been in existence since November 2001 and has over 175,000 log-ins with 600-plus users.

The college has completely redesigned all Web sites in the college with vendor costs of approximately $100,000. The college has upgraded all desktop operating systems. All faculty workstations will be upgraded in the 2003-2004 academic year.

The B-school has awarded 4,920 MBA degrees since its founding. It has 4,869 living MBA alumni, and 243 MBA club(s) throughout 33 countries, where B-school alums can participate in school activities and alumni events.

During the past 12 months, 41% of alumni gave to the school's fund-raising efforts. They gave a median gift of U.S. $100, and a mean gift of U.S. $452. The school has not received a gift in excess of U.S. $10 million between Jan. 2001 and Oct. 2003, and the B-school endowment is U.S. $86,700,000
