I have achieved my professional career goals thanks to the school's reputation. [The] education was excellent, both in terms of skills developed and information content, due to, in the large part, commitment of the professors and quality of the students' experience. Furthermore, it was a fantastic way to spend two years. In addition to a professional network, some of my best friends are from the MBA, and Barcelona is an amazing city. Comparing IESE to the school where I spent an exchange term (Columbia, which was in its own right excellent), I would not hesitate to recommend the former. Relatively low tuition and cost of living are also factors. -- Consulting
Not everyone has the same criteria when applying for B-school. I wanted a top European school, a two-year program, an affordable school, a good location, and a truly international mix, and I am rather satisfied with what I got. -- Finance
I believe the quality of the program is on par with most other leading business schools. The difference is the environment of the school and the city. In my cohort there were 50 nationalities. The experience of IESE, Barcelona and Europe, the friendships, and camaraderie make IESE a definite recommendation. -- Nonprofit
The experience of the past two years has truly changed my life. I have achieved exactly the job I wanted and had a fantastic multicultural and bilingual experience during the time that I have studied. The school, for me, has the best combination of all the factors that count in an MBA. Learning, friendships, value for money, and much more. If I were to recommend a school to friends, I cannot think of a better overall package. -- Finance
It is a diverse forum for interactive cross-cultural experiences, and a great personal growth opportunity for anyone who wants international exposure. A bit different than the student-oriented programs I was familiar with, but that just created the additional challenge of setting up clubs and grass roots student organizations. -- Entrepreneurship
IESE offered the opportunity to experience a first-rate business school with a complete program in a foreign country. It has a certain edge US B-schools can't offer and the case methodology makes it more interesting than lectures. Come on we had enough of the spoon-feeding in the undergraduate degree. Now you need to think more and learn from you classmates. -- Entrepreneurship
I had a fantastic and outstanding time during my two years at IESE. I have learned more about myself. I have met some very interesting people, experienced new cultures, expanded my views and visions of the world and, last but not least, I have learned a lot not only academically but also about life itself. I would recommend it to everyone. Truly amazing! -- Investment Banking
There is a family atmosphere at the school where I feel students truly get as much interaction with professors on a personal basis as they could possibly want. This facilitated the learning process and helped develop permanent relationships with the subject matter experts (i.e. the teachers). -- Healthcare
IESE presents an extraordinary learning environment for North Americans. Not only do students gain business education in the classroom, but they also grow from their exposure to an extremely diverse group of international students. Combining this diversity with an environment that promotes learning an additional language, and one realizes that IESE creates value for students far beyond the cost of tuition. -- Operations
The program is geared toward problem solving and practical experience. I developed further my management skills and explored my own strengths and weaknesses, an asset for life. I would suggest IESE to people who are thinking about leading or founding a business and, of course, only to those who are able to handle the workload. -- Investment Banking
