The school has a standardized desktop environment for every student & staff, enabling them to access content and information in a homogenous manner in the campus. Network drives are given to all staff & students so that they can access their files from any computer without the need of carrying diskettes. Terminal services enable students & staff to access the applications across the network conveniently.
The school revamped and improved its Web sites.
Working aggressively on e-learning over the last few years. 86% undergraduate courses and more than 68% MBA courses are already online. Extensive tools including the use of discussion boards, online assessment and tests, posting of videos of lectures online and so on are deployed to supplement classroom teaching.
Improved the infrastructure to improve availability and performance of our IT services. Clustering, Load Balancing with Storage Area Networks with Lan-Less backups were implemented recently to improve the availability and reliability of our online services.
The University has also implemented extensive wireless network within the campus to allow students to access course content, applications and information with their laptop computers easily.
Students have cashless, self-served printing kiosks to meet their printing needs.
Upgrade computing and teaching facilities. New U-shaped seminar rooms fitted with latest technologies. More computer laboratories for graduate students. Computers are upgraded regularly to ensure that they are relevant to the students.
