CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

Of the top five MBA programs, I strongly believe that Kellogg affords the most unique, well-rounded mix of quantitative and qualitative study. My experience here has been top-notch. I would recommend the program to any friend or colleague without hesitation. -- Finance

Kelllog is a great place for all outgoing, motivated, and smart future managers. Many of my friends fit this model, and those are the ones that I would encourage to attend Kellogg. -- Investment Banking

The academic experience and the degree are only the beginning. Kellogg unveiled a vast world of opportunities and people that I had never considered. In terms of life experiences it was very significant and I would definitely urge friends or colleagues to enroll. -- Finance

Kellogg provides you with a state of the art general management education. At the same time, it offers unsurpassed opportunities to hone your leadership skills and develop your interests in a plethora of business and personal interests. -- Consulting

Kellogg's program has tremendous strength across disciplines, it is not dominated by just one or two departments. You can't beat Kellogg for a comprehensive education. The culture/spirit, the academics, the strength of the peer group, the access to alumni all make Kellogg a once-in-a-lifetime experience. -- Finance

The program does an excellent job of training future business and civic leaders by helping to shape and develop the hard and soft skills needed to get the maximum out of ones business career, personal relationships, and community involvement. -- Investment Banking

I believe all B-schools in the top five provide a similar quality academic education. The main difference comes from the people and the atmosphere at the school. Before applying to Kellogg I had done a tour of the top schools and nowhere did I feel more at home than at Kellogg. This feeling only got reinforced once I was here. -- Consulting

Kellogg offers a top-notch education that is fun, exciting, and that prepares students to excel in industry. I believe all of my colleagues could benefit from the education I received. It would help them make better business decisions, be more productive, and enjoy their jobs more. -- Operations

The Kellogg experience resonates at both the personal and professional level. I spent a challenging and yet a superbly gratifying two years in Evanston. -- Consulting

Kellogg is a school that admits bright, energetic people. The school's culture gives students' ownership of their individual experiences and allows students to grow intellectually and personally at their own rapid pace. -- Venture Capital/Private Equity

From a financial perspective, I tripled my salary. Even with the cost of attending business school, the pay back period on this investment will be very short. From a social perspective, the people here were phenomenal. I made great, lifelong friends, which I did not fully expect. From an educational perspective, the level of the teachers and the breadth of courses were exceptional. There were also many non-classroom learning experiences that were outstanding, like student consulting projects and case competitions between schools. -- Consulting

Kellogg offers the right blend of rigorous academics and social interaction. This experience not only broadened my horizons but also gave me fantastic memories of my graduate school experience. It was definitely more than I could have ever imagined. -- Finance

I received exposure to so many new areas of business that I had not previously considered pursuing and, with an MBA from Kellogg, had an opportunity to interview and potentially work for these companies. -- Real Estate Finance

The administration makes sure the experience lives up to the hype. I have not seen an organization more focused on its customer, the student body. -- Marketing

Kellogg provided me with a vast, worldwide network; the opportunity to build a valuable set of tools for business; and, live out dreams or dream-like opportunities: interviewing the President of the Green Bay Packers for a school project, studying wine in Chile and Argentina for a class, and co-authoring a case on Major League Baseball. It’s an environment that is both challenging and supportive. The ideal MBA experience! -- Investment Banking

Kellogg offers the ability to develop an extremely strong management foundation without the competitive egos found in most top MBA programs. -- Finance

MBA programs are not just about cramming accounting, marketing, and finance into our heads. Interaction with classmates both academically and socially is the real playing field. Kellogg excels in the selection of its student body and the opportunities the school provides students to learn from one another. -- Consulting
