Georgia Tech's Business Program is a best-value deal. If you work hard and make yourself competitive, you can compete for job positions against top ten B-School students. The difference is that you pay half as much as they pay. Another good reason to come to Georgia Tech is that if you are a good candidate you will get a tuition waiver. So think about it. You can get the same jobs that top ten B-School students get, paying virtually nothing except for your living expenses. It does not get much better than that, believe me. -- Operations
Look closely at Georgia Tech. I absolutely feel that it is an "up and coming" school. It is dedicating the resources (new building, great faculty) to make it a Top 25 MBA program. It is only missing the established network of graduates to make it a truly great program. The leadership recognizes this, and has made it a focus. Once the new building is built the number of students in the program will probably double. Also, the leadership is beginning to focus on getting alumni more involved. -- Consulting
For those individuals who are focused nationally, and interested in a highly quantitative, financial education, I would strongly urge them to go to Georgia Tech. For those who are more internationally focused and are interested in marketing, I would suggest that they consider Georgia Tech along with a few other schools. -- Anonymous
The professors, the administration, and the career services were excellent. Everyone was willing to help whenever possible or at least pointed you in the right direction. It's a small program, which made it very easy to get to know the other students. There are a number of social events planned with students, faculty, and alumni. The education included real world examples, team projects, and opportunities to conduct projects with local companies. Atlanta is a great city with a lot to do. -- Marketing
Excellent education for the money. Georgia Tech is a tremendous value for a top business school. Tech has very good professors, the fellow students are excellent, and the whole experience was very satisfying. On the downside, recruiting is not as strong as I would have liked. Overall though, I would definitely recommend Tech to my friends. -- Finance
The education was maybe slightly less in quality than top tier schools but the focus on technology and the value in terms of tuition costs was a huge advantage. -- Operations
[Do you feel you could have learned as much from a distance-learning MBA program?] At Georgia Tech, the program becomes your life. No distance learning could ever surpass the overall learning and personal/professional growth available from interacting daily (face to face) with faculty and staff; face to face interaction with fellow students in class, work groups, clubs, extracurricular activities, etc.; daily participation in 'campus life'; resources available such as computer labs, library, study halls, faculty, etc.; facilities and resources for on campus recruitment, interviews, career services support, etc. -- Marketing/Operations
Georgia Tech has been a phenomenal experience for me. From the strong administration to responsive faculty, and the low price tag, almost every aspect of the program was an extremely positive experience. In addition to the classes offered in the MBA program, Tech provides access to a wide variety of electives. I was able to take a course in real estate development that I would not have been able to take at another school. Engineering courses are also available to students who have an interest. I really liked this aspect of the program. -- Real Estate
I really enjoyed my time here at Tech over the last two years. I learned a tremendous amount, met many great new friends, got to know all of my professors well, and am graduating debt free. Although the economy did not help the job search process this year, I think that my timing was just bad. I think that Tech is a wonderful school with many things going for it. With the new business school building opening soon, the program should continue to improve and reputation and awareness of the school will increase. I had an excellent time here at Tech and would definitely recommend the school to anyone. -- Finance
