CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

The program at RSM is highly international and offers great freedom to chose from a huge variety of elective courses in the second year. As an advantage I would say that it does teach various concepts and methods of management. I think that this appropriate these days. The "one approach" school is outdated. Another benefit is the cost of the program. -- Consulting

RSM is certainly a good school, and strides have been made to improve the quality of the classroom experience the past few years. However, RSM's strategic selling point is the people. To have 150 people from 56 countries in my year challenges me to appreciate others' viewpoints and understand various cultures better. The Teamwork aspect is what I value the most from RSM, along with the incredible colleagues I had from all over the world. -- Marketing

The impact on my career was as good as it possibly could have been. The people I met have changed me and the way I look at the world. I have never ever before lived in such a fertile environment. It is the best thing I have ever done in my life. The teaching could be better, but I doubt any other school could exceed RSM’s international student body. -- Consulting

MBA education gives a whole new perspective to personal and professional life. It’s not just about studies but about meeting different people, networking, and becoming much more confident in your life. Due to economic downturn, some students may not get the dream job at the start but the confidence you develop prepares you take on new challenges in your stride. -- Finance

Great choice for those who want an international European program but are not crazy about strategy consulting. For those who want a lot of E-business and IT insight and great development of soft skills. RSM's academic quality is truly great, as most exchange students who were in U.S. attested. -- E-Business

The school is a very appropriate setting for someone transitioning from a developing country setting into a western environment. The international flavor and laid back nature of the student body, that makes irrationally competitive behavior something to be frowned upon, creates a collegial learning environment. -- Information Technology

[My] classmates were excellent and living in Holland was fantastic. Regarding the school, the teaching methodology needs to be improved. A few teachers - and their courses - were very bad. I would have preferred more case studies. The content and level of some finance electives was not the expected. -- Marketing

My experience in RSM was full of teamwork, care, and excitement. It's a good place for experienced people like myself. I wish the school differentiated itself from American schools and put more efforts on helping students get internships and jobs. -- Operations

My overall opinion about the school was very good, however, with the exception that I was not satisfied with the way the school's administration treated the students. Thus, I would have to tell my friends/colleagues about this. -- Law

The impact on my career was as good as possible, the people I met have changed me and the way I look at the world. I have never ever before lived in such a fertile environment -- it is the best thing I have ever done in my life. The teaching could be better, but I doubt any other school could exceed RSM's student body. -- Consulting

Great School, great city, great country. I would not undermine the value of the RSM MBA/MBI program in comparison to any U.S. MBA school. -- Marketing/Finance
