CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

My choice of school was based on prestige. I must recognize that it was a hard experience, in terms of workload, but rewarding at the same time. So, I will definitely recommend the Instituto de Empresa to my friends and colleagues. -- Marketing

The IE International MBA is amazingly international, with people from all over the world and the quality of the professors is superior. The exchange program with the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta was my favorite part of the year. The Institute is very responsive to the students complaints and is always very helpful and willing to improve. The Institute is very influential in the Spanish business life and so it has a lot of respect from all sectors. -- Consulting

It is a great program. The majority of the faculty has great experience, know their subject, and teach well. However, the school has some administrative problems and the career center, although it's improving, has a long way to go. It was a great experience to work with people from all over the world. -- Finance

One of the best things I feel I got from the MBA, apart from knowledge and skills, was the discipline and ability to handle my time. The contacts I made were also priceless. -- Information Technology

An MBA is one of the fastest and most effective ways of getting information and knowledge, and learning how to use it, not to mention networking. I would say if you are prepared to make the enormous effort it takes, it really is worth it. -- Investment Banking

It was a very good experience to meet other people with the same initiatives, and the same energy to learn, and make the most of this academic experience in Spain. With regard to the program, I must say I had very good professors, and had the opportunity to listen to gurus and guest speakers, who opened my mind to new ideas and managerial theories. -- Finance

I think that the IE International MBA offers one of the best cost-quality relationships that you can find. -- Finance

By using only the case method, you can experience all the tensions and ingridients that a management decision carries. But I would specifically recommend Instituto de Empresa because of some different reasons: academic proficiency, multicultural environment, and an ad-hoc approach to circumstances. -- Human Resources

When compared with other MBA programs to which I have applied, and when compared with other MBA students' experiences, I would consider the IE International MBA Program as a very good "value proposal", considering its relative costs and its program quality. -- Investment Banking

I would like to stress the importance of the exchange program in the MBA program. My experience in India, studying in the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta), was a memorable and unique experience that not only enhanced my network and knowledge of the business practices in India, but also helped me to understand the culture further. The international exposure at a personal and professional level was one of the key succcess factors of my MBA program. -- Consulting

Instituto de Empresa is well positioned in Entrepreneurship. They encouraged us to be proactive and create our business, to become entrepreneurs. I think that's a good idea as long as, nowadays, the labor-market is not living the best time ever known. -- Anonymous
