CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

The MBA program was perhaps one of the most enjoyable ventures that I have undertaken. The school helps students who help themselves. Every unit of effort that I put into maximizing my MBA experience was matched by the school. -- Finance

The school is changing in a positive direction. The Graduate Business Association has helped promote more outside speakers, social and community-help, and diversity activities. It also received support from the faculty and administration. It was inconvenient that the majority of marketing classes need to be taken off campus, over 25 miles away. They do only occur once a week, but last semester I had two of these classes with almost an hour commute each way. -- Marketing

High quality education at rock bottom prices. Collaboration with GE and internships helped many to secure a job. Many International students received free tuition as they were offered GA's. The school also has a $1 million investment fund run by students, and a state of the art, brand-new business school building. -- Finance

The school is small enough, and the faculty and opportunity are outstanding. Tuition is affordable and Graduate Assistantships are available. The diversity of classmates was eye opening. I learned a lot about culture and business in many other countries. I am not so U.S./Western focused anymore, I see economics and culture more globally now. -- Marketing

The School deserves a place amongst the top MBA programs in the world. It attract students of high calibre and provides them with excellent learning experience at a very reasonable cost! -- Marketing

UConn has a long way to go before I would recommend them to others. While the cost was right and the professors were good, the administration running the program seem to be more interested in their own career paths and not the students in the program. They need a new culture of customer service. They have so much knowledge of that in house it's ironic they can't apply it. -- Finance

UConn is the school of future. The school has achieved complete transformation in the last five years. If it is more aggressive -- it could be in top 50 sooner than expected. It has all the right ingredients: students, faculty, and infrastructure. -- Finance
