CAREERS

The B-school offers EMBA students access to its career services office? Yes

The B-school allows its EMBA students to interview on campus with corporate recruiters targeting executives for full-time jobs? Yes
School policy:Students are eligible to participate in all career center activities in their last year, however an additional fee is required for these services to separate these costs from tuition and fees which sponsoring companies pay for.
ALUMNI AFFAIRS

The B-school has awarded 95 executive MBA degrees, and 15,261 MBA degrees since its founding. It has 14,860 living MBA alumni, and 25 MBA clubs throughout 9 countries, where B-school alums can participate in school activities and alumni events.

0 EMBAs will graduate in 2003, compared to 0 EMBAs that graduated in 1998.

During the past 12 months, 10% of alumni gave to the school's fundraising efforts. They gave a median gift of U.S. $119, and a mean gift of U.S. $1,994. The school has not received a gift in excess of U.S. $10 million between Jan. 2001 and Oct. 2003, and the B-school endowment is U.S. $131,748,032


PROGRAM CHANGES

Significant changes since 2001:
The program changed from a company-specific EMBA to a publicly-offered EMBA in 2002.
TECHNOLOGY

Wireless network in main buildings: Yes

School's investment in technology over the past three years: $3,775,000

Technology changes made over the past three years:
Increased networking capabilities, upgraded servers, increased IT security, and expanded wireless access to include student common and administrative areas. Network capacity and speed has been improved with the use of 100MB switched Ethernet throughout the school with a gigabit backbone. McCombs has added nine private study rooms equipped with T1 lines and digital whiteboards. A new MBA Leadership Center has been constructed with Internet connections, a high-tech conference room, and flat screen televisions. The 275 workstations in the student computer labs have been replaced with new machines equipped with DVD/CD-RW drives and 17" LCD displays. E-mail capabilities have been improved with new servers, an upgrade to Exchange 2003, and a 66% increase in mailbox capacity. Network storage capacity has been increased significantly - graduate students have 500MB of file storage space and 17MB of web server space.
