TECHNOLOGY

Wireless network in main buildings: Yes

School's investment in technology over the past three years: $900,000

Technology changes made over the past three years:
Technological Improvements 1999-2002

Instructional technology improvements for 1999-2002 include
new computers added to the podiums in the classrooms so that instructors can easily access
their presentations from the network. The student computer labs have been upgraded with new computers and a more robust operating system (Windows 2000). Faculty and staff have been upgraded to Windows 2000. This allowed us to give faculty and staff
a large amount of network space which is backed up for them. It also allowed faculty to log into
the classrooms and still have access to their files.
Another upgrade added is the online application process for the graduate and undergraduate programs. This allows
potential students to apply online from the convenience of their computers wherever that may be.
