Technology changes made over the past three years:
During the last three years, SMU Cox School Technology Services has installed a theatre-quality multi-media projection system in the Georges Gallery, one of the business school's largest classrooms. The classrooms have been upgraded with wireless capabilities and multi-media equipment. The Cox Wireless network, which launched two years ago, enables students and staff access to networking capabilities throughout the Cox School without having to hardwire their laptop computers to a wall jack. Several additional servers were added to the network, providing more storage space for data and applications. Faculty and classroom computers were also upgraded for faster processing and greater storage capacity.
