TECHNOLOGY

Wireless network in main buildings: Yes

School's investment in technology over the past three years: $1,023,629

Technology changes made over the past three years:
The school added a school-wide wireless network, direct fiber optic link to CNN and all news agencies worldwide, school-wide IP-based video-teleconferencing, a faculty Information Technology Center, and a local RealVideo server. The school also upgraded and increased computers in the Student Computer Center from 20 to 50, and replaced all classroom computers and projectors. A fully automated distance learning center and a broadcast video production studio were developed. All faculty and staff desktop computers and notebooks were replaced. The number of mobile school notebooks was increased from 20 to 45. The school also redesigned both the Internet and Intranet.

The B-school has awarded 5,368 MBA degrees since its founding, 350 of which were part-time MBA students. It has 4,106 living MBA alumni, and 11 MBA club(s)in 3 countries, where B-school alums can participate in school activities and alumni events.

During the past 12 months, 20% of alumni gave to the school's fundraising efforts. They gave a median gift of U.S. $100, and a mean gift of U.S. $1,500. As of Jan. 2002 the B-school has received a gift in excess of U.S. $10 million, and the B-school's total endowment is $70,000,000 (U.S.)
