TECHNOLOGY

Wireless network in main buildings: Yes

School's investment in technology over the past three years: $5,121,371

Technology changes made over the past three years:
The school doubled the size of the IT department. It added a new multimedia lab with 45 computer stations. Student email services upgraded for increased size and ease-of-use. The network was upgraded to 100 mb switched. New printing services and a helpdesk were added. Seminar rooms are equipped with new audio, video, DVD capabilities. Now 85% of the school has wireless coverage. All student study space has been wired for network connectivity. Regular tables were replaced with e-tables, wired for power and networking directly to the table. A Storage Area Network (SAN) has been installed and made available online. Online software tutorials made available for Microsoft Windows and Office software. Citrix Terminal Services has been added to allow the delivery of software to students while they connected to the network from any location rather than a specific lab. Public computing clusters have been routinely upgraded to maintain fast, high quality computers.

The B-school has awarded 4,284 MBA degrees since its founding. It has 4,343 living MBA alumni, and 170 MBA club(s) in 38 countries, where B-school alums can participate in school activities and alumni events.

During the past 12 months, 52% of alumni gave to the school's fundraising efforts. They gave a median gift of U.S. $150, and a mean gift of U.S. $523. As of Jan. 2000 the B-school has not received a gift in excess of U.S. $10 million, and the B-school's total endowment is U.S. $291,179,492
