Technology changes made over the past three years:
Queen's School of Business moved into a new 110,000 square foot building in September 2002. Goodes Hall features network access from every classroom seat, in the student lounges, in the numerous meeting and team rooms throughout the building as well as in public gathering areas. Classrooms all include data projectors, document cameras, VHS and DVD video capability, and video-conferencing. The new building has allowed the underlying IT support infrastructure to be greatly strengthened and consolidated to provide enhanced services for students including: private and shared managed file space, Web portals for each program linked to enhanced course databases, full support for remote access from home, and an enhanced support structure to resolve student hardware and software difficulties.
