CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

The program offered a strong combination of application and theory. There was also an emphasis on ethics and international issues. The strategy, finance, and marketing staff are outstanding. -- Marketing

I found the small size of the classes and its resulting personal touch to be one of the most rewarding things at Pepperdine. With that said, I would highly recommend the MBA program at Pepperdine. -- Legal

I feel that my education and interaction with my fellow MBA colleagues greatly impacted my professional growth as well as my strategic understanding of business as a whole. My experience at Pepperdine has help to develop and hone a variety of skills that will benefit my business life. -- Marketing

I would recommend it to friends if they wanted to go the "international MBA" route, but would recommend other schools if they wanted just a normal MBA. But I also would recommend they wait until the new MBA building is finished being built. -- Marketing

Pepperdine's huge network is one of the best reasons to attend the school. Some work needs to be done to better exploit the network, and if done correctly, the likelihood of my urging someone to apply would be greater. Also, I would definitely urge people to try getting into the Executive Program because it has a better ranking, and is a shorter program. -- Entrepreneurship

Pepperdine is a great school, with a practical approach to teaching -- versus the theoritical approach of many schools. I am pleased with my selection of Pepperdine's MBA program. The school needs to improve its Career Services office. On campus interviews are practically non-existant. The alumni network is good, but not used to its full potential. Career services is by far the weakest link in the program. -- Marketing

I was accepted to four MBA programs along with Pepperdine. A few of the programs, such as the Carlson School, were ranked much higher. However, I do not regret my decision for a moment to attend Pepperdine. Pepperdine was an excellent choice that has well prepared me for a career in any field I choose to pursue. -- Marketing

What sets Pepperdine appart from other business schools is its interactive and flowing student population. With an abundance of foreign students, and an abundance of talent, amazing projects are accomplished. This, along with accessible faculty makes the Pepperdine experience a great one. However, the lack of reputation hurts the school when the job search starts. Overall, Pepperdine gives you an intimate setting for your degree, but requires you to really work extremely hard for a job. -- Finance

I feel the overall quality of my MBA education was very sound and I am very pleased. In addition, my overall MBA experience was of the highest quality. -- Marketing
