Technology changes made over the past three years:
The school built the Office of Information Technology Center, revamped its server room, purchased a research database server, a web server, and an enterprise server. The school installed an experimental wireless project in most areas of the college including classrooms, research seminar rooms, and the atrium, The school upgraded to Windows XP in all classrooms and podia, and Windows 2000 in the remainder of the college. Faculty PCs are upgraded every three years and staff PCs every four years. Ten college Web sites were redesigned to incorporate on-line applications and databases. The school implemented use of eProject software for project management and group collaboration in MBA and Exec. MBA programs and the use of a content managementn sytem to allow individuals of all departments to update and edit sites in a more timely fashion. An on-line faculty directory and database that allows faculty to update their academic and research listings more frequently and more accurately was developed. On-line surveys and database backend for faculty research were also developed. EScheduling, a course reservation software for MBA students and the online tool that helps students plan their course schedule, was designed and created. "The Book," a quick reference to the fundamental material presented in the MBA coure classes, was also developed.
