This program is by far the best bang for the buck out there. All of the MBA curricula in the top-40 is essentially the same. Once you've purchased the education, then the brand name becomes important. For the price I paid, I purchased an excellent brand name at a discount price. Many of my friends that went to Ivy League schools will graduate with over $100k in debt and will have a great brand name. In my case, I felt like I got a good brand a great price. -- Consulting
Krannert has top rated faculty and an outstanding teaching methodology that can be tailored to an individuals needs. The team building is also a huge factor in my preference of Krannert. The students are sincerely promoted to work together. Another aspect of Krannert I did not expect but took full advantage of, was the exposure to international culture and business practices. Although known for its excellence in Operations and Quantitative Skills, Krannert has one of the best Finance and Strategy curriculums. -- General Management
Krannert was great. I think it provided a friendly environment to learn, with very approachable professors. There are some unique career paths to follow here. -- Operations
I fundamentally believe that most MBA programs teach the same materials. The only difference is the status of the faculty, the quality of the students, and the reputation of the school. Krannert struggles with recognition on all those fronts but still delivers a top notch education. -- Finance
I more than doubled my income in less than two years. Purdue is a tough-minded MBA. It requires a lot of its students. The placement office put me in front of 32 companies my last year. That is how many I interviewed with. -- Marketing
The program is very comprehensive. You learn the critical aspects in virtually every functional area that are needed to be a valued employee. In my internship as a business analyst I used practically every skill I learned in the core curriculum. -- Finance
The program is great for someone with a technical background, especially the engineers and the scientists. The professors did a great job. The rigors of the program toughen you up and the tuition and living expenses are a lot more affordable than some other B-schools. -- Operations
I would encourage friends and colleagues to enroll because of the intense nature of the first year. It was like being in academic boot camp. I am leaving with a feeling that I can accomplish anything. In addition, the curriculum is extremely well rounded. -- Operations
I can't imagine a more intense, fully integrated program. If you can make it through the first year at Krannert, you can make it through anything. -- Finance
Krannert School of Management offers a myriad of experiences to the student. It is one of the top schools in the nation with students enrolled from several different countries around the world. The friends made here are forever. -- Finance
Despite a very tough job market, I will be working in my first choice of industries, first choice of functions, and first choice of groups within in that function. To me, that is the best measuring stick for the quality of an MBA program. -- Finance
Overall, I know that Purdue was a great value in a MBA program. The professors here were much more knowledgeable about current happenings in the business world than I had expected. The team oriented classes and stress on cases, allowed us to work in a much more realistic environment. The placement office here has also been a great help. Not only in their ability to get quality companies in, but in their efforts to improve our interviewing and job-hunting skills. -- Operations
My time here has been wonderful. I have worked with MBA students from at least eight different schools over the past two years on various projects and after each experience I have grown more confident in my own program. -- Marketing
[Do you feel you could have learned as much from a distance-learning MBA program?] I feel that one of the greatest things about Krannert is the fact that you have so much interaction with your fellow students. You are constantly participating in group work which builds relationships and networking opportunities that will last a lifetime. Distance learning would not allow a student to take part in this valuable part of the MBA program. -- Rotation Program
