TECHNOLOGY

Wireless network in main buildings: Yes

School's investment in technology over the past three years: $1,491,000

Technology changes made over the past three years:
A video conference classroom was installed. The school established a wireless network throughout the Krannert Building and support and e-mail/calendar synchronization for PDAs in all common-area computer stations and labs. Catalyst, an academic, administrative, and communications portal for master's students, was launched. The school began offering video-streamed lectures to/from remote locations for guest speakers, joint courses with our sister school, GISMA, in Germany, and other distance learning situations. An in-house chatspace to host live chat room discussions with current and prospective students was also launched.
