CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

I was very pleased with the HEC MBA program. Very particular attention was paid to us at all times. The administration is making visible and continuous efforts to improve an already strong program. I don't think I could get a much better school. My exchange experience in France confirmed this thought. -- Marketing

The school program is very well structured and allows you to cover all your expectations especially in terms of content and networking. It is a challenge in terms of workload and teamwork management. Overall it has been a very good deal (tuition vs. benefits). The administration staff is very helpfull. Furthermore, the school's network is outstanding -- it has a great reputation in the province and a growing reputation in Europe. -- Investment Banking

The program is a very intensive one (one-year), putting a lot of pressure and requiring a lot of organization in order to fulfill the homeworks and the exams (every five weeks, five exams). It is an excellent simulator of a "high pressure" environment. I call it "a one-year stress management course"! -- Consulting

Fantastic, cutting-edge school where you have quality instruction, meet challenging and friendly collegues. Course offerings are improving and the quality of material is real world, case study oriented...not overly theoretical. -- Information Technology

I found the HEC intensive MBA program to be of high quality. Furthermore, the numerous case studies allowed me to develop my analytical skills. In my opinion, this is preferable to the rote learning methods used in other institutions. The teachers were experienced in their subject matter, and the class size of less than 30 allowed for personalized education. -- Consulting

The school gave a good quality education with a strong network of contacts world wide. As well, the career center has been helpful in locating employment. -- Investment Banking

The one-year intensive MBA is very well designed. Personally, I think HEC is good at finance and marketing. I have learned many things in the program. I have [more] self-confidence than ever before. -- Finance

Generally, HEC is an excellent university. So many knowledgeable and intelligent professors and a first-rate facility. Learning the MBA was really a challenge for me. The major problem is the language. For a bilingual university, HEC has no English environment. Most of the signs are in French. Most of the student activities are processed by French. -- Finance

A true love/hate relationship... A full-time pressure cooker for 54 weeks, but if you make it through HEC's MBA program, you will be fully prepared for whatever your professional, and personal life can throw at you. -- Finance

A very good program, especially the English program offered in a French school -- lots of international students enriching the experience. -- Entrepreneurship

HEC is an outstanding B-school with low tuition fees. It has famous professors and perfect services. Talking about the teaching level, it is almost the same as those famous B-schools like Warton and Harvard. With an MBA degree here I can find my future jobs easily. And I have already recommended HEC to many of my friends -- some of them are potential students of HEC currently. -- Finance
