ADDITIONAL SCHOOL COMMENTS
Although this program does not require students to have an international experience, this school has expanded its opportunities for international exchanges to include Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam in 2002. Students are encouraged to either do a summer study abroad in France, China, or Japan; a six-week Asian Field Study (three weeks of which are spent visiting companies in Asia); or a semester long exchange with one of 14 schools in Europe and Asia.
The College of Business does claim intellectual property rights on ventures developed by students only if University of Hawaii or College of Business resources are used in the development of the ventures.
