CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

The program was well rounded and provided a significant amount of real world studies to fortify the academics. -- Finance

I think the Fordham program is unique and would strongly recommend it to others because of its flexibility and high caliber of student body and faculty. -- Marketing

Although Fordham is not ranked highly as a business school, I believe that Fordham's faculty and program are second to none. The small class sizes are ideal for learning and allow professors and students to form personal relationships with one another. Fordham's location in the heart of New York City is also ideal for business students. Finally, the culture in Fordham is very conducive to learning, due to the spirit of cooperation and excellence that exists among the faculty and students. -- Marketing

The program is flexible and challenging. Though it should offer more daytime classes, Fordham caters to those who are working full time as well as to those who are enrolled full time. The school is small enough to get specialized attention and the professors really try to get to know each student personally and professionally. -- Finance

Fordham's program was very flexible allowing you to tailor you schedule to your specific needs. Also, most professors have real world jobs so what you learn has real world applications, not just out of a textbook. -- Finance

Living, studying, and working in New York City allows us to the best-and-brightest from Wall Street and the financial community at large -- an unbeatable experience. -- Marketing

After attending Fordham, I realized that they are sitting on an "untapped oil field." The school needs to realize their potential to compete with Columbia and NYU is very attainable. Also, there are many alums that need to be contacted. Many alums I have spoken to say they are never contacted. -- Accounting

Fordham University's MBA allows you to switch between full and part-time programs without any consequences. The Graduate School of Business Administration offers a number of distinct programs, tailored to the needs and study interests of a broad array of students. -- Information Technology

Good global business community experience, great faculty, more than 50% international students, highly supportive career services department, great on-campus opportunities. -- Operations

The Fordham MBA Curriculum is very good and effective, especially the program I took which focused on global management issues (Global Professional MBA Program). However, it is relatively new compared to other well-established and renowned Ivy League schools and MBA programs. Fordham just needs some help in terms of marketing, branding, awareness building and/or word-of-mouth advertising. Ultimately, I think what counts is strong self-awareness in the MBA candidate/student. The MBA candidate must know his/her strengths and weaknesses and have a strong direction in terms of career and educational goals. -- Marketing

Given Fordham B-School's faculty, program flexibility, Manhattan location, and extracurricular resources/opportunities, I would definitely recommend my alma mater to friends and colleagues. -- Consulting
