The upgraded technology infrastructure includes: 5x faster Internet connection; expanded wireless connectivity on campus; an upgraded campus network hardware to increase speed; the replacement of all public access (as well as faculty and staff) desktop computers. The upgraded classroom technology and instructional support services includes: 100% multi-media classrooms equipped with computer, video projection, and network access; upgraded classroom virtual networking; the re-organization of curriculum support for faculty; the replacement of home-built course management system with Blackboard; increased usage of and integrated library research support with Blackboard; and the development of new IT and Library Web sites to support faculty and student services and research.
