School's investment in technology over the past three years: $7,000,000

Technology changes made over the past three years:
Faculty, staff, and students now have wireless access to the school’s network anytime and without being tied to cables and network ports. The school's high-tech CTM Investment Foundation Trading Room offers students the same software, databases, online information, and teleconferencing tools available to Wall Street professionals. Kenan-Flagler developed a web-based intranet portal and application environment for students and faculty. The school integrated Exchange 2000 to increase services for PDAs and handheld computers and improved all video and multimedia display capabilities at both the main and executive education campuses to facilitate computer-enabled training and instruction. A cutting-edge technology-based learning environment was implemented at the Rizzo Center (executive education center), which includes high-speed access, the latest videoconferencing and web-based instructional technology solutions, and collaboration environments. The school maintains over 2,800 high-speed network Internet connections in its McColl Building.
