The School IT infrastructure is a Microsoft Platform. The network comprises twelve servers utilising Windows Advanced Server 2000 operating system, Exchange Server, SQL, 4500 in-house network points, multiple star topology fibre-optic cabling to run Gigabit Ethernet utilising TCP/IP protocol. The School has extensive audio-visual equipment and systems in its nine major teaching spaces and other areas where presentations occur. Five of the lecture theatres are equipped with the latest dual high resolution and brightness data projectors, slide projectors, visualizers, video, sound systems and audio. These are all electronic controlled by touch panel and also remotely over the School network. There will also be other mobile AV equipment. The largest lecture theatre (300 seats) has a full control room and the flexibility to cater for sophisticated outside uses by adding equipment, such as simultaneous translation. It has a fully demountable stage. One of the lecture theatres is equipped with four remotely controlled cameras for videoconferencing and preparation of video material. The School also has a professional Digital Video movie and a general purpose Digital Video still and 'mini-movie' camera. All seating in the five lecture theatres have individual power and datapoints. The School is equipped with two high quality videoconferencing sets. There are two rooms specifically designed for videoconferencing.
