Wharton has been a leader in distance learning and has partnered with six different vendors in this area. Technolgy will continue to be used as part of the delivery mix, though it will not be used as the sole delivery method for entire programs.
Plans to extend executive education offerings:
Wharton will begin to offer non-degree executive education programs at its new facility in San Francisco, beginning in the first quarter of 2002. Additionally, Wharton formed an alliance with INSEAD (France & Singapore) this year and the two schools will collaborate on certain custom and open-enrollment programs.
