No
Distance courses offered or planned:
Yes, Thunderbird executive education teaches some course modules via the Internet including courses in our executive degree programs. The school does not believe that teaching this way is viable for all types of courses.
Plans to extend executive education offerings:
Thunderbird is one of the largest university-based providers of executive education programs and the leading provider of global management programs. In the coming years, we will aggressively expand our offerings, which already include programs in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. This expansion will include both degree and non-degree executive programs. Expanison is underway at our executive education facility in Archamps, France located near Geneva, both in terms of the building and course offerings. This project includes construction on the new building that will consist of four auditoriums and four classrooms, along with 12 breakout rooms and ufll audio-visual, computer and Internet facilities. Completion is scheduled in July 2002. In addition, our Centers for Business Skills Development in Russia, Moscow and Shanghai, China, will continue to provide Western-style management training for native managers in those countries.
