Distance courses offered or planned:
SDA Bocconi considers Distance Learning as a strong support to traditional face-to-face courses. The School has since 1996 an internal Reserach Center for the development and implementation of new teaching technologies. In the last 5 years several new distance learning programs have been launched, including a fully interactive case on the Turnoaround of New Holland, Banco Ambrosiano and Pirelli. Recently seven new courses have been completed, as basic courses on Accounting, HR, Finance, Quantitative Methods, etc.. Others are under development, also with international cooperations. Optical Fibre and Wireless connections are in use in the School.
Plans to extend executive education offerings:
The plans of the School are to expand its executive education offerings towards the higher segment of the market and the international markets. SDA Bocconi inaugurated in September 2001 a new building for additional classrooms and offices.
