GRADUATE COMMENTS

Untitled Great program; great campus; great students; good instructors. --President

While the mix of students and the time in positions were very good overall, if a few of the students were more seasoned in their fields, stronger discussions could have prevailed at times. --Finance

They need to focus more equally on all three MBA programs. The full-time program receives all of the attention and focus. While the same tuition is being paid by the executive and evening students. Ironically, it is the executive students who end up contributing more to the knowledge of the professors (that is by their admission). --Operations

(Improvements?) Better food for lunch. --Finance

The program provided us with a foundation to know what the latest management thinking is, but also developed our thinking to make our own unique decisions. --Marketing

The design of the program, the interaction between students and faculty, the knowledge gained, and the impact this program made on my personal and professional development were above my expectations. I find it hard to believe this same experience could be duplicated. --CEO

School has generally excellent professors, but courses were not really integrative. There was almost no mention of an obviously emerging economic power, i.e. the European Union, in class. (That's) despite the existing summer European travel programs. There is also a need for more training in consulting. --Assistant Professor

The Liberal Arts tradition at Wake Forest lends itself well to producing an extremely well rounded MBA graduate from the Babcock School. The financial and analytical rigor of the program was more than sufficient to prepare me for a move from sales to finance - but just as importantly, we were adequately prepared in the lessons of leadership and human interaction. I often wondered aloud why Babcock didn't call the program a "Masters in Organizational Leadership," because that is what they train there - leaders. --Finance

The school was great about getting us adjusted to what we were about to embark upon. They also did a good job of keeping all of us informed about the upcoming schedules, etc. --Tax Consultant

The day to day experiences were critically linked to the "teams" which we were assigned to and expected to remain with for the 2 years of the program. This structure impeded building relationships with other class members, thus impeded some of the learning process. --Medicine

Strength - integration of present day issues into the curriculum. Weaknesses - low representation of minority students. --Operations

Excellent balance in the program. Professors worked closely with students. I am in the not-for-profit field and the program met my needs very well. --Strategy
