GRADUATE COMMENTS

Untitled The USC program is outstanding. The faculty was highly accessable, the fellow students were interesting and added value, and industry leaders were brought into the classroom regularly. The required international trip was among one of the defining events in my life. --Marketing

Strengths: Top notch, very experienced in "real world" businesses, great contacts, applicable stories and experiences. Weaknesses: The program goes too quickly to get to know everyone. --Operations

The USC program was well rounded from a practical "real world" perspective. The program emphasized interaction and involvement with working executives, on real life initiatives, as well as a solid grounding on theory and relevant case study. Additionally, the caliber of the students enrolled in the program was exceptional, adding to the overall learning experience. --Information Technologies

The strengths of the instructors was to challenge us and involve us in a dialogue as opposed to merely lecturing. The weakness was some of the instructors did not know the background of the students and were not prepared for the challenge of teaching experts in other fields. --CEO

When the professors weren't coddling the students and caving in to their whining, the lectures were very informative. --Analyst

I did speak with a number of schools, and USC was the ONLY school that treated me as a human being...like I was the customer. Every other University had the attitude that I should feel privileged to attend their school. USC was interested in what I wanted/needed. --Marketing

The professors at USC have excellent command of the materials and apply it well to present business environment. The administration of the program was outstanding. The quality of the students added tremendous value to my understanding of the materials and their input added a depth to the academic materials. The alumni network has been outstanding. --Operations

(Instructors?) Strengths: Most were consulting to the business world and were curent on trends and issues. All were extremely qualified. Most created an interactive environment. Weaknesses: At times some faculty were overly technical. --Business Development

At times the group study expectations were unreasonable. This was largely due to the fact that the participants have varying amounts of time available due to work load, professional responsibilities, etc. I think that the experience could be improved by better controlling the time requirements around group projects. --Finance

University of Southern California has the best Executive MBA program in the country. One school may have a better department than another, but no school can possibly have it down like USC does. Everything was first class. --Marketing
