ALUMNI AFFAIRS

The B-school has awarded 837 executive MBA degrees, and n/a MBA degrees since its founding. It has 16,493 living MBA alumni, and 9 MBA clubs, where B-school alums can participate in school activities and alumni events.

63 EMBAs will graduate in 2001, compared to 55 EMBAs that graduated in 1996.

During the past 12 months, 12% of alumni gave to the school's fundraising efforts. They gave a median gift of U.S. n/a, and a mean gift of U.S. n/a. The school has received a gift in excess of U.S. $10 million since 1999, and the B-school endowment is U.S. $136,580,000

Significant changes since 1999:
The school improved "guest" evenings to make them more "classy" and partner friendly. The school also implemented a personal financial/estate planning lecture by a lawyer, invited significant others to sit in on some classes with advance notice, and started classes 30 minutes later in the day to facilitate travel and time at home with families in the morning.

Technology changes made over the past three years:
The school redesigned its web site featuring a web content management system and added a new email system utilizing Outlook Exchange. A new electonic capital markets training room was added. The number of public PC stations with printers was increased. Blackboard course management software and Citrix remote access distribution software system were implemented. The school also expanded its electronic research and resource collection.
