GRADUATE COMMENTS

Untitled The Purdue program offers the best value and schedule of any of the leading EMBA programs. Many of the top rated programs cost nearly twice as much as the Krannert EMBA. For a busy manager who travels periodically, Krannert's focused two-week block schedule is ideal. --Business Process Improvement

I believe the curriculum and professors were excellent. The other three factors which differentiated the Purdue program were: 1) the capability to attend the school from anywhere; 2) the diverse group of professionals attending; 3) the international curriculum including the international trip --Marketing and Planning Manager

This program is recognized as one of the best programs not only in the country but also ranked very high outside the country. It offers a good return on your investment for both time and money. They really provide a global perspective in Management. Their collaboration with other Asian and European universities and international trip at those places adds a great value to the program and the graduates. --Manufacturing

My definition of providing a quality education is the transfer of knowledge from the faculty to the student. Krannert (Purdue) has a highly skilled and attentive staff that made the extra effort to ensure you understood the course material. I was very impressed with their case study teaching method as well as the ability of the professors to challenge the abilities and limits of the students in the classroom. Your grades are earned at Krannert, not given to you and I respected that about the program. --Finance

Purdue is a "best in its class" operation that has been catering to executives for many years. They offer a variety of innovative programs and the flexibility to move within these programs. In my particular case I was able to take a year off from school while working abroad and successfully re-enter Purdue's program upon my return. --Finance

The classroom experience exceeded my expectations based on past classroom experiences. The clear advantage of this program was the 6, 2 -week "immersion periods" on campus. The team building that took place in the study groups and the amount of time that was spent developing case studies was priceless. My point here is that the class experience was excellent but the learning experience from other classmates and the way Purdue fostered this was and is the key to the program. --Operations

(Improvements?) Less feeding of rich, mid-western cooking for lunch! -- Strategy

Purdue (Krannert) tends to focus heavily on the analytical/quantitative side. Having a couple of courses that focused more on developing a General Manager aptitude would have been useful. Krannert is excellent at developing the analytical skill sets of it's students and having a little additional focus on General Manager skills would give Krannert an unparallel position as a Business School. --Finance

I can't think of much that would have improved the experience. The two week in residency sessions provided an excellent forum for not only instruction, but an exchange of ideas. Unlike local weekend programs, the compressed two week format also provided the uninterrupted attention of all participants. --Operations

I have the highest regard for both the faculty and administrative staff at Purdue. Obtaining my MBA from Purdue was the most worthwhile educational pursuit I've engaged in. They educate, develop, and prepare their students for the challenges that lie ahead in their business careers. If I could choose any Business school in the country in which to pursue my MBA it would be Purdue. --Finance

The staff at the Purdue Krannert Center was incredibly helpful. Pro-active with guidance and communication, quick to respond to unforseen issues, they exceeded my expectations every time in ensuring that our time was spent with class issues, not logistical issues. --Sales Manager
