Significant changes since 1999:
(1)The school has added an innovative, cross-functional curriculum that truly integrates modules and residence weeks (there are no discrete courses) across traditional management disciplines. (2) An experiential pedagogy employs applied learning modes such as reflective journals, live case development, and practical business simulations. Assignments focus on real problems faced by the sponsoring organization. This process enables participants to bring immediate value to their sponsoring organization.
(3) A team learning approach promotes cooperative leadership skills by giving each team member a measurable stake in the success (learning) of every other member. (4) A full-time faculty member coordinates team learning for each EMBA class and oversees a 3-credit course woven throughout the 17-month program.
