The school created a new Intranet called My Thunderbird that is a global learning portal for professors, students, alumni, and staff. In fall 1999, the school extended the Intranet to alumni, and in spring 2000 the school made it possible for its students to search out alumni electronically utilizing areas of interest, regions, etc. Career services uses a program on the Intranet called ProFit, which lets students upload, and recruiters view resumes, as well as linking students with alumni.
