As regular readers of this blog will know, I’ve been having a great time interacting with, and learning from, BusinessWeek’s readers (and potential readers) on Twitter. When I recently reached 5,000 followers, I was delighted to see that #5,000 is, like me, executive editor of a website and a magazine journalist. Nancy Price not only co-founded SheKnows.com 10 years ago, she has launched a number of startups and sites including ePregnancy.com, Myria.com, Pregnancy & Baby and PointsAndPrizes.com. She also served as editor-in-chief of two national consumer magazines and as editorial director of three newsstand titles published by one of her companies, Coincide Media. We invited the Phoenix-based serial entrepreneur (and mom of four, I might add) to contribute a column, and - no surprise - she came back to us with a smart piece on how other entrepreneurs can realize their dreams. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your insights – not only on Twitter, but with our BusinessWeek community, too!
Well done Nancy! YOU DESERVE IT!
