Brian Bremner
Brian Bremner is an assistant managing editor for
Bloomberg Businessweek. Previously, he was Hong Kong bureau chief for
BusinessWeek and Asia channel editor for BusinessWeek.com. Before that, he was Tokyo bureau chief and Asian economics editor. Bremner joined
BusinessWeek in 1988 in Chicago. He later moved to New York, where he was a department editor. In 1993, he left to join Bloomberg News in Tokyo. He rejoined
BusinessWeek as a Tokyo correspondent in March 1995. Bremner was part of a team that won the 1998 Overseas Press Club Morton Frank Award for Best Business Reporting from Abroad. He holds a journalism degree from Marquette University.
