Jill Bennett

Jill Bennett anchors BusinessWeek TV, the magazine's nationally syndicated personal finance program. She also anchors BusinessWeek's daily financial and consumer reports live from the Nasdaq MarketSite for television stations around the country. Her market reports can also be seen and downloaded at BusinessWeek.com and iTunes. Bennett got her start as a journalist in South Africa, and then covered two Presidential elections while working at broadcast stations in Boston and Maine. Prior to BusinessWeek, she worked as the producer/anchor of the Fortune Business Report at NY1 News and reported for the Dow Jones station WBIS+ in New York. During her 12 years in New York she has covered the stock market runup, Internet bubble, the September 11 attacks, and interviewed dozens of CEOs and reported on personal finance.

Bennett graduated from Simmons College, a women's college in Boston, where she is an active member of the Simmons Leadership Council, which develops mentoring programs for current undergraduates. She and her husband live in Connecticut.
