Jason Bush is the chief of BusinessWeek's Moscow bureau. He is responsible for coverage of business and politics in Russia and the former Soviet Union. Previously, he was a correspondent in Moscow, a position he assumed in 2003.
Prior to joining BusinessWeek, Bush was a freelance business journalist in Moscow for several years. He contributed pieces to the Economist Intelligence Unit, BusinessWeek, Institutional Investor, Emerging Markets, and Business Eastern Europe. Before that, he was a staff writer at Business Central Europe magazine and Central European magazine.
Bush holds a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics from Corpus Christi College and a MA in history from Tufts University.
