Previously, she worked for Dow Jones Newswires in Washington for seven years and before that covered banking, tourism, and lobbying at The Washington Times. Kopecki also worked as the business editor at the Aspen Daily News in Colorado and as a news anchor for KSPN Radio in Aspen, Colo.
