Here's your chance to vote for your favorite models from our wide selection of categories -- or nominate your own favorites
Far more than a means of transportation, cars are objects of beauty to behold, powerful machines that make our hearts race, and markers of significant moments in our lives. We love them. And chances are, if you've made it to this page, you not only love them, too, you want to tell us how much. So BusinessWeek Online has created a "Cars We Love" survey. Here's how it works:
We asked the car lovers in our midst to create categories for all the cars they love. Then we asked for their picks within those categories.
Now we want to hear from you: Vote on your favorite car in each category. If it's not listed, let us know by nominating it. Each week we'll tally the votes, update the survey with frequently nominated cars, and continue the voting. You can even nominate a whole new category. Once the final votes are tallied, we'll feature the winners in a final "Cars We Love" photo essay.

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITES
With just a few weeks of voting left, there are some clear favorites and close calls. For Best Luxury Car itŐs a three-way race between Mercedes CLS 500, Cadillac CTS and BMW Seven Series. In the Best Car of All Time category the 1973 Porsche 911 is pulling away from the pack. And the car to beat for Best Design Under $20,000 is the Pontiac Solstice. Vote in this round and watch for another update next week.
