Ciro Scotti is assistant managing editor of BusinessWeek. Prior to that, he was a senior editor since 1988, overseeing the government and sports business departments, the Washington Outlook page, and the copy desk. He also wrote the wide-ranging column "A Not-so-Neutral Corner" for BusinessWeek.com. Scotti joined BusinessWeek in 1978 as a copy editor. Prior to BusinessWeek, Scotti was reporter for the New York Post, The Evening Press in Binghamton, N.Y., and The Pawtucket Times in Rhode Island. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from New York University.
