Bio

Michael Arndt is editor of Bloomberg Businessweek's innovation and design coverage. Before moving into this role in 2008, Arndt had been editor of BW Chicago, a BusinessWeek monthly publication. He also had been a senior correspondent in BusinessWeek's Chicago Bureau. Prior to joining BusinessWeek in 2000, Arndt served five years as a business editor at the Chicago Tribune. He was the newspaper's chief economics correspondent in Washington, DC, from 1990 to 1995. Arndt, who lives in Chicago, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He has a brown belt in judo.
