Since Samsung Group patriarch Lee Kun Hee, 72, suffered a heart attack in May, investors have wondered whether control of Korea’s largest business group may change. Thanks to the Lee family’s grip on theme park operator Samsung Everland, which holds big stakes in sister companies along with its roller coasters and log flumes, Samsung’s remote will likely remain in the family hands.
