U.S. Health-Care Costs vs. Life Expectancy


The U.S. outspends its peers on health care, yet its population doesn’t enjoy the world’s longest life expectancy. How do other developed nations stack up? An analysis of data compiled by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development suggests that nations with the highest average life expectancies vary greatly in how much they spend.
