Corrections & Clarifications From Prior Issues

In “The Race for Rangoon” (Features, July 9-July 15), we stated that Aung San Suu Kyi was released from house arrest just before the 2010 election; the release was just after the election.

Briefs (Companies & Industries, July 9-July 15) incorrectly identified the headquarters of electronics maker HTC. The company is based in Taiwan.

In “U.S. Automakers Cut Retirees Loose” (Companies & Industries, July 2-July 8), we misstated the amount by which General Motors is overfunding its new group annuity for salaried retirees at a unit of Prudential Financial. It is $3 billion.
