Design Shines at Startup Offices

The Facebook IPO may have been a dash of cold water on the tech sector, but startups are still flush with VC cash and spending lavishly on interior design. A beautiful office is a recruiting tool, says Jason Freedman, co-founder of commercial real estate website 42Floors, and a well-designed work space encourages the kind of face-to-face collaboration that’s impossible to replicate virtually.
