America's Shrinking Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The recession and the fracking boom are dramatically reducing the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The Department of Energy’s projection for the U.S. energy industry’s emissions in 2030 has dropped 28 percent from its forecast five years ago.
